Another Match Made in 7 on my blog and this time it was again difficult for me to do something with this months theme. But then I heard a general song of The Beach Boys and was inspired to give my look a California Dreaming vibe!
Match Made in Seven
Welcome to the monthly edition of Match made in Seven! We are an international group of fashion bloggers who meet once a month. One of us chooses a theme in turn, and that can be anything. A book, music, a color, a movie. And then we style an outfit based on that theme. The theme of this month is chosen and is: California Dreaming.
Also take a look at the other bloggers how they have interpreted the theme this month.
: Deze blogposts zullen in het Engels geschreven zijn, dit I.v.m. de Internationale bezoeksters.
When I think of California, I see surfboards, high waves and palm trees. The number of the Mamas and the papas California Dreaming is about the fact that they longed for the beautiful weather, the sun and the atmosphere that makes them so happy. Many young people went to California to make their dream come true.
It was a kind of mecca for hippies, Asians and people who came to plunge into the high waves.
That is the reason that I chose this tunic and 7/8 white pants. It has a cheerful, relaxed atmosphere and I feel comfortable in it.
It was really a long time since I had bought white pants. Now I recently saw a nice white skirt with Nancy and thought, what does it look good on her and why don’t I have a white skirt or pants?
So… yes I bought one!
My white pants have zippers on the side and that makes it more my style. It was love at first sight!
I wear a pink tunic with a cheerful dot print. Of course a pair of pink ballerinas should not be missing and I finish the look with my pink bag with fringes. This bag is from Tosca Blue and I am very careful with it.
I bought these earrings online for only 5.00 at Celine’s Choice. A well-known transgender couple from the Netherlands is friends with her and Louise regularly wears something on television from her collection.
Here I have changed the look a bit, now I am wearing a wide white belt over the tunic. I don’t really like belts.
Of course I adjusted my make-up to this cheerful look and I went loose with pink!
I hope you enjoyed my fashion story…
I would like it if you visit the other lovely ladies and see how they made a match with the theme…
