Hello girls, how are you?
Welcome to the monthly edition of Match made in Seven! We are an international group of fashion bloggers who meet once a month. One of us chooses a theme in turn, and that can be anything. A book, music, a color, a movie. And then we style an outfit based on that theme. The theme of this month is chosen and is: Accessories
Also take a look at the other bloggers how they have interpreted the theme this month.
🇾🇪 : Deze blogposts zullen in het Engels geschreven zijn, dit I.v.m. de Internationale bezoeksters!
You never have enough accessories, I think we should buy it all! But I also love to create my own bags or make my own jewelry.
Nice accessories will make your day and your outfit! Sometimes I look so hard for that one piece, that it is frustrating if you can’t find it. Then I am glad to be creative and do it my own way.
In the past I made hats, but also my own clothing. Last year I made 2 bags, I will show them to you!
I made it from several little pieces fake leather. And I wear it when I am on my red heals!
The next one I made from real leather, it was very hard to work with it, but I managed to make my first one! I think I need more time for making my own fashion!
I think that every woman knows her, that style icon Iris Apfel! What does she do here in my article about accessories? Well… she was my inspiration!
Just dress the way you are or feel… she is the one that styles her accessories the best! And when I found an iron on sticker at AliExpress I had to have it! I was lucky that it came in last week, just before the deadline! Yeah! A little DIY tip…
I am sad I didn’t find some glasses on time, but I tried to copy her style with the accessories I had at home!
What I wear
DIY shirt with Iris Apfel (1,99 shirt, 1,89 iron on)
Plated Skirt, Primark 17,00
Pieces belt, animal print 14,00
Panty, Zeeman 1,49
Western Boots, Sacha 109,00
Scarf, silk Picasso (from my mother)
Jewelry: H&M, Thierry Mugler, My Bendel, Blitz, Pieces…
Oh,… by the way the bag is from a German designer Ana Alcazar! It was a present from a PR Agency, lucky me!
I am honest that every theme is a challenge and I thought this was easy peasy, but damnnnnnnn I am glad that Iris Apfel came along and she whispered in my ears what to do!
Do you love my style?
I would like it if you visit the other lovely ladies and see how they made a match with the theme Accessories…
